Live Nation Takes Majority Stake in Movistar Arena Santiago

Live Nation Entertainment has entered a new majority-stake partnership with BeLive Entertainment Group that will make the global concert promoter the controlling stakeholder in Movistar Arena Santiago, one of South America’s busiest and most influential live entertainment venues.

Located in Chile’s capital, Movistar Arena Santiago is widely regarded as the top arena in South America, hosting more than 170 events annually and welcoming over one million fans each year. The 15,000-capacity venue serves as a critical touring stop for international superstars, regional acts, and Chilean artists, solidifying Santiago’s status as a key hub on global concert routes.

Under the new partnership, Live Nation will work alongside BeLive’s local leadership to enhance the fan experience, expand production and technical capabilities, and create additional opportunities for both international tours and homegrown talent. The venue’s existing identity and strong local roots will remain central to its operations.

Live Nation CEO and President Michael Rapino shared “Latin America is one of the most vibrant live music regions in the world, and Chile is a critical stop for artists touring the continent. Partnering with BeLive allows us to strengthen what already works, bring in more great shows, and continue growing the live experience for fans across the region.”

BeLive Entertainment Group CEO Daniel Hiller said the partnership positions Movistar Arena for continued growth while preserving its connection to Chilean audiences.

“This partnership marks an important new chapter for Movistar Arena,” Hiller said. “Live Nation’s global expertise, combined with the arena’s deep connection to Chilean audiences, will help us continue delivering world-class experiences for some of the most passionate fans anywhere.”

The deal further expands Live Nation’s footprint in Latin America, a region that continues to see strong growth in touring activity and live entertainment demand.
