AEG Presents Elevates Chelsea Cunningham, Justin Miller to Key North American Venue Leadership Posts

AEG Presents is sharpening its focus on venue operations and long-term facility strategy with the promotion of two veteran executives into newly expanded North American leadership roles.

The global live entertainment company announced that Chelsea Cunningham and Justin Miller have been named Vice Presidents of North American Venues, a move that separates two major areas of responsibility across AEG Presents’ venue business: operational policy and infrastructure planning.

Cunningham, based in Los Angeles, will oversee the company’s venue policies and procedures. Miller, based in Detroit, will lead national oversight of venue capital improvements and maintenance. Both will report to Brent Fedrizzi, President of North American Regional Offices at AEG Presents.

The appointments reflect AEG Presents’ continued investment in its North American venue portfolio, which includes more than 50 venues across the continent. As touring activity remains highly competitive and venues face increasing pressure to improve fan experience, operational consistency and capital planning have become central priorities for major live entertainment companies.

“Chelsea and Justin exemplify the kind of thoughtful, forward-looking leadership that drives our venue business,” Fedrizzi said. “Chelsea has helped strengthen our operational foundation and talent strategy across the company, while Justin has overseen significant capital improvements that have elevated our venue portfolio. I’m thrilled to see them step into these expanded roles.”

Cunningham most recently served as Vice President of North American Operations, a position she assumed in 2025. In that role, she worked across AEG Presents’ venue network on initiatives tied to operational efficiency, cost reduction and revenue growth. Her work has included preferred partner programs, food and beverage strategy, and venue experience upgrades.

Her background spans several major corners of the entertainment business, with prior leadership roles at The Forum, Ticketmaster and Fox Corporation. In her new position, Cunningham is expected to continue bridging corporate strategy with the day-to-day needs of venue teams.

“AEG Presents has built an incredible venue portfolio because of the people operating these buildings every day,” Cunningham said. “I see my role helping align big-picture strategy with the operational needs of our teams in the field.”

Cunningham also pointed to closer collaboration with Miller as a key part of the new structure, particularly around capital expenditures and initiatives designed to support the long-term performance of AEG Presents venues.

Miller brings a different but complementary background to the role. Before moving into venue management, he began his live events career in 2001 as a touring stage manager and guitar tech. In 2003, he became production manager at Royal Oak Music Theatre, later serving as general manager and project manager on major renovation projects there and at several other venues, including Masonic Temple Detroit, The Agora Cleveland, Jacobs Pavilion and Globe Iron.

In 2018, Miller moved to The Masonic Detroit as general manager and vice president of operations. His promotion formalizes a broader national role in overseeing the physical condition, maintenance priorities and capital improvement planning for AEG Presents’ North American venues.

“I’m grateful and excited to partner with Chelsea in my new role with the company,” Miller said. “This new structure should help to lighten that burden while increasing efficiencies and helping to pool resources.”

The appointments position Cunningham and Miller as central figures in how AEG Presents manages the next phase of its venue business. Cunningham’s portfolio emphasizes consistency, operational strategy and field support, while Miller’s focuses on the buildings themselves — from renovation priorities to maintenance planning.

Together, their roles suggest a more integrated approach to venue leadership, combining the guest-facing and operational realities of live events with the capital investment needed to keep venues competitive in a crowded entertainment market.
